£99 fixed price for a single nest, with no VAT and a full guarantee. There are no call-out or fuel charges within our 20-mile service area.

Can you come out the same day?

Usually yes. We hold same-day slots between 8am and 9pm, seven days a week. Call us with your postcode and we'll quote the next available time.

Do you treat hornets?

Yes. European hornet nests are treated at the same £99 fixed price. Suspected Asian hornet sightings should be reported via the official Asian Hornet Watch app, and we will attend and confirm.

Where do wasps usually build nests?

Lofts, soffits, eaves, wall cavities, chimneys, sheds, garages and in the ground around lawns and decking are the most common locations in Hertfordshire homes.

Will I need to leave the house?

Usually not. We treat the nest at the entrance, and the property is safe to occupy during and after treatment — we'll advise you about any specific area to stay clear of while activity dies down.

Is it safe for pets and children?

Yes. The insecticide is applied in small amounts at the nest entrance. Keep pets and children away from the area around the nest until activity has died down — usually a few hours.

Will the wasps come back next year?

An old nest is not re-used by a new colony. However, the location is attractive (because of its conditions), so it's worth sealing small gaps after treatment to reduce the chance of a new queen choosing the same spot.

Can I treat the nest myself?

Supermarket aerosols are not designed for an active nest. Approaching a nest also risks multiple stings. The safest approach is to have it identified and treated properly.
